What about this Chinese stereo 450W / mono 800W amplifier module

  1. That is not a class D amp.
  2. With that low voltage power supply it won't give that power at all. As already mentioned, short term on 1 Ohm maybe.
  3. The heatsink is WAY too small for even half of the power.
  4. The 45dB s/n ratio is ridiculously low, makes it only useful for a subwoofer (if, at all)
  5. The description and the pictures of the wiring are wrong. It needs a middle tap transformer to get the +/- voltage and the middle tap of the transformer has to be connected to the gnd on the board. It's even printed on the box (2x30V)
  6. The parts are poorly mounted on the board before soldering. The one resistor even seems to have one leg in the air. A lot of other parts are at crooked angles too.
  7. The cement resistors will burn the board.
  8. The relays are way too small for the power. (Well, good there ARE relays at all)

One positive thing I've noticed, the electrolytes are 63V, so enough headroom there.

Anyway, hands off that amp, you won't be happy with it.
