Yes, but in your case you can only enter numbers if Caps lock is on.
That one is to enable the key pad of the "On screen keyboard" not directly on the laptop keyboard

I don't see any option to turn Auto Off, I can select Off after xx min. but even if I select 30 minutes for example, the plates mutes after a few minutes without signal

my problem with HFD, after 'enable recording' and 'take measurement' I don't get a sweep.
With FA253 1.42 I had the same problem, til I tried to switch invert to on. Only inverted I got the sweep, don't ask me why.
Now with firmware 1.44, no sweep anymore. When I start measuring, I get the message: 'Argument out of range'. This happened in 1.42 as well, but after starting measurement again, I got the sweep. Not in 1.44
While the measurement runs, the mic records the noise in my room
I'm using a laptop, W10/64 bit
Asio4all got the full control.
Usb soundcard:Behringer UMC 22 and UMC 202 HD
Microphone: EMX 7150
I changed all cables a few times to make shure no cable been broken
I tried for days and days and days all kind of Windows and HFD settings.
If someone got this problem as well or got an idea . . .
I read all Fusion and HFD forum(s?) complete (English,German,Dutch)
