I do, and I can tell you if the cutout is too small you will have trouble getting the insulating material on the board through the hole, too big and the screws will have nothing to bite into. Best you buy your modules before you cut. Depth wise only a small clearance is required.

The Fusion package is waiting for me at home...

Thanks to all for the answers!

The good news: my Fusion plate amps arrived. The bad news: the PCBs are curved around the transformer.

Does anyone has this issue as well? Should I be concerned about it and return them?

Best regards,

Fedde

Mine was fine. A bow like that will stress the PCB tracks and likely lead to problems later even if OK now.

Just checked it at a 252 floating around. A little bending because 2 fets are below the pcb. Not much and no problem for the pcb. Camera angles can be very unrelaible.

Could you make a photo?

I already contacted Hypex RMA support by the way.

I attached a second photo where you can see better where the bending starts. I think the bending is too much, this must be an assembly issue...

For FA, something would distort if the analogue input voltage given in the specification was exceeded? Or just the amps put out more power than the nominal and that's all?

According to Hypex, the bend in the PCB is expected. All Fusion amps have this. Indeed the root cause is FETs that pushing the PCB up due to an isolation layer. So far they have not experienced issues with this...

Still not so happy about this though... I think it is a design issue...
