Hey, I'm currently using a SMSL SA-36A Pro to power a pair of bookshelf speakers. The speakers are not difficult to drive, but not easy also. I believe they are rated at around 50W RMS each. The amp is already going in protection mode slightly past half volume.
Now I'm looking for a more powerful amp to power my speakers. I was looking at the TDA7492 and TPA3116. Is it worth going from the SA-36A to an amp based on one of these two? If so, which one?
Or if any other choice would suit my situation better, i'm all up for suggestions.
