Depends on the power supply... too much capacitance can impact the OCP or startup of the SMPS, causing a "hiccup" where the supply will try to start, charge the added caps, then go into OCP, and get stuck in a cycle of perpetually trying to start up.

Also, an SMPS does not work the way a traditional linear supply does. They generally use feedback for regulation, so they don't need massive banks of caps to maintain good regulation. Adding capacitance to a typical SMPS it likely to cause more problems than it will solve.

once I receive the pcb, will check the lead spacing, order the caps (22k uf x 1 first and check)
is this 22000 uf model ok?

Not rectifier bro, just capacitor bank after SMPS before connecting to amp board. that pcb has no place for diode.

Folks, I started this last round of discussions back a few days ago. And based on your appreciated feed back, I decided to purchase an AIYIMA A07. There was a recommendation that I look for a 600w 48v power supply. I found this on Amazon for $29 USA, sold by EYEboot.

Thanks Dr. so now i wait for my stuff to arrive. More then likely I will want to swap Opamps. Seems that is what others are doing. I’m researching now, but there appears to be a lot of options. My goal is a larger sound stage, any suggestion out there where I can start?
