What a pity. I had problems ordering parts from chipamp.com a year or so ago and contacted Brian Bell, the former owner. Brian's a very nice guy but he could do little to influence the new owner, who seemed completely indifferent to filling orders. No wonder the business has died. Regards, Scott

The ChipAmp.com domain is still owned by and registered to Brian Bell. It was renewed three weeks ago. Their server is down hard, though. You can find the details here: Chipamp.com domain expired?.
I hate to see businesses go down this way. The very least would be a notice on the website saying that they went out of business or something. On the other hand, it seems it's been coming for a while judging by a number of threads similar to this one. Chipamp.com are they for real or scam ? Chipamp.com people around? Tom

Brian has redirected the domain in order to avoid more disappointed customers.
