Hello Gilwe,

That's the way to do it a 'proper' gain clone as many people have found out that the fewer the components the better the sound. It's very easy to make something like this without the PCB's they are really superfluous.

Here is my LM3875 Chip amp project.
I used an old cassette deck, repainted with black and the front panel made from a 1.5mm thick aluminum sheet. I have not very efficient speakers at the moment to test it good, but as for now I can say I'm satisfied by the sound.

I finished my amp a few months ago and I wanted to share my project.
Raspberry Pi 3 w/ IQ Audio DAC running Volumio
7" Touch screen
5V PSU for the screen and Raspberry Pi/DAC
LM3875 Amp
