Hello there! I contacted a few electronic distributors here in Italy and none of them have that series of chips, neither the LM3875 or similars. The cheapest way to have it seems to be at www.futurlec.com as they have it and they will ship by mail for 3 dollars, no minimum order. But they need a credit card that I haven't.

Someone can suggest me a way to have it here in Italy?

That does not work in Europe. When you ask for samples, it seems to go good. You get a nice confirmationmail with shippingdat etc.

One day later you get a mail with: sorry we can not give you the samples, contact ouy local dealer (or something like that).

I tryd it many times, allways with the same result.

I own a company, dir register me, so thats not the problem

With so many GC builders I am not surprised that National don't want to send so much samples across the world.

I am buying 3875 in local store here in Zagreb regulary for 70 kn (local currency). This is less then 10€. 3886 is even cheeper here.

Giaime, have you tried in some shop in Trieste? As I recall, 15 years ago everybody from Croatia went to Trieste to find parts while we were at the time small and closed market.:dead:

If you want i can send you a pair par 'posta prioritaria'.

Thank you all! It seems that this thread is an Italian meeting place... Forza autocostruttori italiani!.

Yep!
Another good source for components is digikey:
http://it.digikey.com/

Note that the european (including italian) catalog, in euro, is about the half of the american/international:
http://www.digikey.com/

For example most of Analog Devices opamps are available only in the catalog in USD.

In the first case the shipping cost is fixed to 18 euro, in the second is higher, but usually there is an advantage in the USD/EUR exchange..
Not including shipping, Digikey has lower prices than RS, Distrelec, Farnell, etc.. and becomes advantageous for europeans if a bunch of components is purchased (not only 2 of 3).

Ciao!
