yes, i dont think it doesnt do the chip much good to vary the resisistor too much, thats because its the mute pin and your kinda putting the mute on a little bit, or taking it off a little bit. altering the current to and from pin 8 bleeds the input signal thuss altering the tonal quality of the outputt. or so i understand. see you soon, steve.. ..
Haven't checked this but may have something to do with change of gainbandwidth product. You should have less than 33 k.
