Hello. I have some questions about my amp, this is my first post on this forum so if i posted in the wrong sub forum i apologise in advance. I just bought 2 Klipsch rp-280f premieres to replace my chrono 502's and i am wondering if i need to upgrade my amp. Here are the specs on my amp and the new speakers:
Exposure 1010 Amp - Manual - Stereo Integrated Amplifier - HiFi Engine http://assets.klipsch.com/product-sp...Spec-Sheet.pdf If anyone has any thoughts/tips/tricks on this topic or the klipsh speakers i would greatly appreciate a reply ![]() |

Your new Klipsch speakers are about 13dB more sensitive than your old ones. The upside of this is your music will sound a lot louder at the same volume setting. The downside is you might notice some hiss from the amplifier even at low volume settings.

That Exposure amp claims only 100dB SNR expect hissing from the tweeters close up.
