Sorry, I have to stand corrected, as the TDA7293 datsheet by ST really doesn't show an application for two chips in BTL .
Hence, PBTL in this case would demand for a phase inverter that drives two identical setups of four paralleled chips, i.e. two virtually individual power amplifiers with the same characteristics. Sorry, I don't get the issues you mentioned for such a configuration?
