Hi guys,
have any of you made these changes on the STK4050? STK4050 STK4050V 200W Power Amp IC - Buy Online @ AmpsLab
I don't understand well what the 510 and 4.7 indicates, are they resistances? especially the 4.7 is already present, so there are two in the series ??
Thank you

Hi mprivitera1

The modifications I made to the STK4050V only apply to the OEM STK4050V which is already out of stock.

There's no guarantee they will work with other STK4050V.

But just for information, the 4.7 ohm is in series with another 4.7 ohm resistor. As for the 510, it is 510 ohm in series with with a 100pF.

Regards
Mike

Thanks Mike for your advice, so I can't apply modification on this SANYO Pagina errore | eBay Volt / 113712903762? ssPageName = STRK% 3AMEBIDX% 3AIT & _trksid = p2060353.m2749.l2649

I seriously doubt it'll work.

Sanyo has discontinued the STK4050V. What are sold today are either OEM or worse still, fakes. The only way is to test it out.

The STK4050V that I used to sell was manufactured by PMC. The power output is 200W but because the internal transistors are different from the original Sanyo, the STK was unstable with Sanyo's schematic.

It's unfortunate I can't replenish my stocks. The STK4050V and the STK4048XI were very popular.
