Speaker polarity in 4440 Bridge mode?

I got a readymade board with two LA4440s. Each of them are in bridge mode, with the board capable of delivering 19Wx2. The speaker outputs are connected tp 10th and 12 pins of the 4440. But nowhere the polarity is mentioned. Not in the board, not even in the datasheet of LA4440.

Could you please help? Which one of the 10 and 12 pins connect to the +ve terminal of the speaker?

It doesn't really matter (absolute phase that is). If you want it correct then you will need to see which of the two amplifiers receives the incoming signal.

If it is pin 2, then pin 12 would be the positive.

If it is pin 6, then pin 10 would be positive.

It all depends on how the designer has configured the chip for this circuit.

It is "in the datasheet", but you have to collect clues from three pages.

I worked it out, see paste-up image.

The quick answer is: for commercial recordings on stereo speakers, just get Left and Right the same (be consistent). There is no absolute phase this far from the microphone (hundreds of steps in the chain from artist to you). It can matter in stage-work. It can matter when bi-amping using different amp for bass and treble. FWIW, sometimes "experts" have missed the fact that a simple stereo rig was out-of-phase, so it isn't a big deal.
