DDA-100 has been changed/improved to DDA-120. DDA-120 has the same inputs as DDA-100 but it has one added set of analog inputs and Bluetooth. It has become more expensive too but price/quality ratio might be very good so let's wait for the first reviews. The analog inputs make it possible to connect older analog sources. I can tell that was one of the things I ran into when I got my DDA-100: I could not use analog devices anymore and sold some of my stuff.
I can confirm the chipset you describe has been made for Nuforce and it is being used in the DDA-100 (and DDA-120 AFAIK). A datasheet won't be distributed, I already tried to get it but Infineon does not give datasheets of products that are made for other companies.
DDA-100 is an excellent product, I am very curious what DDA-120 wil bring.
