Well, it isn't bad as such but the PSU design for the LM1875-amp is completely off! Is it your site?

/U.

That is actually my site...

http://www.diyaudio.com/forums/chip-amps/79303-chip-amp-photo-gallery-190.html#post2690957

And what do you mean by competely off?
Of course the regulating is not necessarily necessary... ;-)
But in that particular case the 24v transformer would have killed the opamps in no time...
That psu is also a compromise between power and size... And how much power does a 15W gainclone actually require from the psu??? Not 100W for sure - if it is regulated.

Step 1: Understand the voltage limits of the opamp.
Step 2: Make a PSU that does not brake those limits.

Could someone please define an operational amplifier for me.
Must it be implemented with valves to make one?
As I understand, ideal opamp has:
  • Infinite input impedance
  • Zero output impedance
  • Infinite gain
  • Zero propagation delay
Now let us make a list here...

If none fulfills the criteria, let's just call them all differential amplifiers then...

Also all suggestions wellcome about my site.
It is still under developement but I can see google has already googled it...
I was going to 'release' it a bit later, but since it is now here, we might as well do it - now.
