I have a small olson amp with screw down terminals on the back.
I have gotten some spade terminals to attach to the speaker wire and I am not sure which wire goes on which terminal.
They are labeled...

right right left left

8 ohm 0 8 ohm 0

Which is connection is positive and which is negative?
Any info would be appreciated. I don't want to do any damage to the amp. I am clearly new to amps and have already blown one, so I'm just being cautious.
thanks

sounds like the ones marked 8 ohm would be + and the others would be -

It doesn't really matter. you shouldn't hurt anything as long as you don't connect the speakers between left and right (and even that usually wouldn't do any damage)

If you hook them both up the same way, it doesn't really matter which end is + and which is -, and will sound fine.

If you get one backwards it won't hurt anything, It'll just sound really weird. Kinda spacey and with much less bass than normal.
