i have repaired a few of these amps for a distributor here in South Africa. the amps he brings in has the same layout as the one you are repairing. These amps have 50n06 power FETS and 47ohm resistors on the gate. I change the power FETS to IRF3205. The reason i do this, because i have found that after repair and while testing the amp the amps gets hot very quickly. The amps does not blow but just keeps on getting hot to a point that you cannot touch the casing of the amp and this heat is only in the power supply section. . I have tried other FETS and found that the IRF3205 works great and does not get hot.
