Targa amp driver board issue dlm4000a

Hi there im currently busy on a Targa tg30 amp the amp had aloose inductor and rubbed the coating off and shorted. The amp blew the whole power supply i replaced the drive transistors for power supply (bd139& bd140) and replaced power supply fets IRFP064N replaced broken inductor. Now amp powers up then a few seconds then draws a lot of current the driver board is DLM4000A

It looks like you have multiple damaged vias on that driver board header.

Did you check for shorted outputs?

Outputs are all good yes

The input via damaged yes

All the ics parts numbers are removed on the driver board

I'm referring to the bits of copper on the connector that was soldered into the main board.

If no outputs failed, it's unlikely that the driver board was damaged.

Is all the ics available to buy and replace

Could it be the drivers on on the output fets?

Not the largest IC, as far as I know... well, not from a reputable source.

Why would the drivers fail if the outputs didn't fail?

What is my next step do i remove the output data and check drive?

Let it draw high current (preferably through a limiter) for a few seconds. What gets hot?

I did let it draw current last night the outputs doesnt heat up

Hi Perry im testing amp now without driver board i don't get +12v and + 15v where do i put negative lead to test that voltages

The small transformer near the PS driver board produces the low voltage supplies.

Ok I got the +12v +15 i put back driver board amp still turning on few sec then draws heavy current i can't see anything getting hot on output side only power supply fets heat up after a few seconds of current draw

Perry u removed the drivers on each side of the output gets the amp turns on no current draw no drive signal from driver board

Which driver board did you have out when you didn't have ±15v?
