Hey Diy community I’m working on another project amp it’s my personal power 650 mosfet. Wanting to update the original rail caps with new ones. Was wondering what are the dimensions for the 4700uf 50 volt caps and the 2200uf 50 volt caps? Also by updating capacitors will this improve the efficiency and sound quality of the amplifier?

Replacing perfectly good caps will do nothing for the sound quality or efficiency. These caps only RARELY fail.

As for the size, if you don't have a dial/digital caliper, this is a good reason to have one. I prefer to see someone use a dial caliper but I know that most people won't learn to use one so a digital caliper (low as $4 from china, if you're willing to wait and only about $10 from Harbor Freight) is a good second choice.
