If you are new to tracing the pre-amp circuits, a fine point black sharpie helps immensely. Make sure the amp is wide open, no cross-over points set and shoot a 100Hz signal into the RCA. Your scope will be your friend for this process. Follow the center pin sign wave and trace it as you go.
No worries, alcohol will take it right off when you are done. Take your time and take breaks as you go to keep the frustrations down. Doing this will also teach you about feedback loops, gates, filters, etc. You may find that there are specific op-amps for each process, gain, crossovers for high low filtering.
Don't let all the pins intimidate you as you are only tracing a single signal. Have all your datasheets for the op-amps handy to know what is "in" and "out".
