perry do you know the value of d205c diodes? Still waiting dor some new 4080,s to come in.
All 5 i had are no good now. Currently just double checking everything.
one has
3.954v
6.441v on the other.

I don't have a diagram for this specific amp and these can vary. What are the numbers on the diodes (I think you're referring to D205C and D206C) in your amp?

What is the rail voltage in your amp?

How are you measuring the voltage (where is each probe placed)?

Are the outputs or is the 4080 in the circuit?

Those diodes act as Zener diodes so I don't know what you mean by value if they're in the circuit and marked.

just making sure they were the correct parts used
as i have found that a lot of the components used were not oem.
Outputs are in circuit
4080 is pulled awaiting more to come in.

Without the 4080, the voltage on those diodes could be almost anything. You may want to pull them to make sure that they're not leaky.

You should be able to tell if they're original by the solder joints.

Testing with the 4080 in the circuit and the outputs out of the circuit is less risky.

That is the problem someone has messed with all these solder joints already.
This is the amp that had the incorrect transistors were the 1R should be.
ill pull the outputs before testing the new 4080

The 68v TVSs were used in some amps. Typically, the rating of the TVS is a bit higher than the rail voltage. If they're not leaky or shorted, I don't think they're going to harm the 4080.

So new 4080's came in only 2 of them. So if i leave the outputs in and insert the 4080 there is no audio at the speaker terminal. there is 6.48vdc across the speaker terrminals?
Should i pull the outputs and start there?
