Alpine 3558 mute light stays orange in error

I just repaired mine Alpine 3558 with the same problem and I founded some capacitor that either shorted or leaking and causing the amp power supply to unbalanced and the result of the amp is in muting or protecting mode. I replaced E711, E712, E716 and some other caps around the IC701, IC801. I would recap the whole amp since you are digging inside the amp. Got my back working after just a few capacitor replacement. There's full set of service manual on line and I can send it too.

Ok found ic 501 and 502. They were hidden under the components on one of the vertical boards. Pin 1 reads around 2 volts and then immediately drops to around 200mv and drains down.

Definatly not 22volts

Measure the DC voltage with the black probe on pin 2 and the red probe on pin 1.

I found some leaking capacitors as Hennesy suggested. Will replace those and see what happens. Thanks for the help
