and i found the legs of the irfz44z the middle leg was bkoken at the base of the transistor. So i changed that as well. The amplifier did not improve any.
This amplifier stays on without remote applied as well, not sure if that is relavant to this curcuitd problem or not. So pin 5 does not charge or change when the remote is applied or removed.
No it wasn't perry in was on, so it's off now and the amp. Is still the same. So I'm back at it again. What controls the voltage regulation for the op amps?
I believe we checked that, sorry just getting back to this one. The transformer looks good not melted looking or discolored in anyway. Just desperate now to fiqure out why it's doing this
No not this amplifier. This is the one we were jumping the 393 pins 5-8 and it then has +-30v on the op-amps. And pin 5 isn't charging as I apply remote, just sits at .093vdc
I think there may be two problems. I think the regulation should have worked, even with the jumper in place. I won't be able to tell you more until I get an amp in that I can test.
