Wayne's reply about deadtime with the 3205 FETs:
The clock chip should limit the on time to about 45%. The only problem with switching to the higher current fet's is they have a higher gate capacitance. To solve this problem is to change all gate resistors from 47 ohms to 10 ohms.

On a side note, I will say that bringing down pins 9 and 10 on 494 chip, from 150 ohms to 100 ohms, did cause them to heat up a lot. They do get warm at this resistance.
 
I had put the original 150 ohm back in. It reads .0657volts. I now have the gate resistors at 100 ohms. Original were 47 ohms. Transformer does heat up with this setup still. Either I put the 100 ohm resistor back in on pins 9 and 10, or install even larger gate resistors. Maybe 150 ohms.
