I'm helping a friend design a subwoofer box for his car.
Kicker CVX 12. (2.25 c/ft)
Rockford Fosgate P6002.
This is the design I've come up in Sketchup, my only concern would be that the port is too small (volume is 2.1c/ft).
17x38x18 with 1/2' MDF.

Saw a video where they had turned the rear wall around and made it 3 1/2 gap which confused the heck and questions my design.
Thoughts?
