I got a rockford100hd in today with shorted outputs on one channel. I replaced the mtp3055 and mtp2955 with a irf540n and irf9540. Are these okay to use? I had to turn the bias adjustment back a lot cause they were heating up with no load. I had to remove output cards and repair a trace. The amp powers fine and I have some output on all four channels. But the gains are all the way up along with head unit. Any help would be appreciated....

pin 1 = 23.8
pin 5 = -20.5
pin 10 = -18.4
pin 24 = 23.8
pin 36 = had a smaller wave form than the input. If you are looking at the top of the module and pin 1 closest to the speaker harness. i will take a picture. i did find one of the amplified outputs on the lm833 pin7. The output is amplified and changes when i adjust the gain pot. This is the same on both modules.
