i had this amp in the closet for a while as im super bussy with my job ,but now im ready to get em fixed and sold .this quantum audio powers on but distorts the output due to missing op amp voltage i believe it was the positive. the regulators used in the amps are c2383/a1013 i was wondering if i can swap them out for bd139/bd 140
Are you talking about regulators or drivers?
I have never seen those transistors used as regulators, but drivers yes.
Look up the data sheet for all 4 and check the voltage and amperage that each component is rated for.
If the replacements meet or exceed the original parts specifications, and have the same pin configuration you will be good to go.
