yeap, so are the large majority of drive by download viral attacks as well...... Well anyways, at least i can see whats going on with the schematics.

Its weird how it keeps doing that. what would cause the drop across the emitter resistors to go to .245v? it does this before the protect kicks in. protect kills the SMPS.

It appears that both drivers are driving the outputs on at the same time. That's why I suspect the diodes and the bias transistor.

It's very rare that flash graphics files are used for malware. I use it for all my graphics because there is nothing else comparable.

Well, im going to pull the diodes and have a check to see if they are leaky. Otherwise, im at a loss

Diodes check fine out of circuit. im at a loss....

The base of QA12 output NPN is pinning around 9.8V at switch-on before kicking into protect. Base of QA11 PNP is at 0.1v

Remove the 4 differential amplifier transistors (QA2, 3, 4 and 5 on the schematic).

Does it have any DC offset?

Does it still draw excessive current?
