cDAC+ Assembly - Cable DAC
This is just a short guide on assembling a basic cDAC+.
First: Cut out the holes for the USB, power jack, and wire.
Next: There are 2 options. Either solder the wire to the cDAC+ board and then slide it out the enclosure or slide the wire in the enclosure and then solder to the board. I recommend the first option as it is a tight fit if you choose the second.
You will need to solder on the power jack as well.
Next: Flip the board right side up and slide it into the enclosure. (Inserting the USB side first) Secure the board with the 2 silver screws provided. Then screw the top on the enclosure.
Last: Solder on 2x RCA jacks or 1x 3.5mm jack to the end of your wire. I am going to reference this post on head-fi for soldering various jacks.
