Aghhhh

I just finished a design around these caps.......well, it could be modified to accommodate other caps. I was actually going to talk to you (Steve) about selling it....

Unregulated Power Supply:

-Soft start/current limiting via relay. Primary power connection
routed through high watt low resistance current limiting resistors
till voltage rails reach a certain level.
-Mute signal generated when rails fall below certain voltage.
-Individual connectors for the addition of extra capacitors - so
someone could hook up some computer grade chassis mount caps.
-On PCB fuse or ability to connect off PCB fuse via dedicated headers.
-Dedicated headers for connecting chassis mounted switch
-Individual star-grounding points for earth ground, small-signal
ground, and power ground.
-Large caps on-board can accommodate capacitors with four leads with
22.5mm lead spacing and diameters of 45mm. Also can accommodate
smaller caps with 10mm lead spacing.
- Large current Molex z-power headers with gold plating that can
handle 30A and you don't have to solder them in if you don't want to.
Digi-Key - WM4668-ND (Manufacturer - 0760010006)
-Sandbox area for add your own stuff.
-compact design 8" x 5"

The board itself is well designed, would be manufactured using 2oz
copper, and the plating would be Silver Immersion (much better then
gold).
An externally hosted image should be here but it was not working when we last tested it.

Max....
Started out with 800 of these caps. I knew they would sell but didn't
know they would sell as fast as they did...
I have feelers out and am trying to find something close or other caps
at a good price but so far haven't found anything yet.
I'm sure I'll post it here 1st as soon as I find something...

I do now have some 33,000Uf 50V caps in stock.
Listed in another thread.

I will check them out. I got the first version of the board pictured above in last week for testing. One of those things where I ordered the first spin and made multiple changes prior to even receiving the PCB. Although, the basic structure is the same so it should allow a pretty accurate characterization of the boards performance. I had already designed it to accommodate multiple size caps, so it should fit the other ones no problem. I will let you know how the testing goes, but it is a pretty simple design so I don't anticipate any issues. Plus, I will perform some in depth Signal Integrity simulations to verify rail isolation and stability.

A very good news that it is possible to order the Silver Immersed PCB boards as You mentioned.
Who is the Manufacturer which can produce such kind of PCBs?
Do You Have any experience ordering such PCB boards from it?
:radar: A web address would be interesting to know more about ...

The manufacturer is Advanced Circuits - PCB Manufacturer, Advanced Circuits Quickturn Printed Circuit Boards Production, Annular Ring Boards, Circuit Board Fabrication, PCB's Fabricator and Distributor. I have ordered tons of pcb's from them - the $33 two layer board is a super good deal and is a very high quality PCB.

Here is a good chart that compares the different finishes:
http://www.4pcb.com/media/Final Finish Chart.pdf

I ordered 6 on my initial prototype run. They are 100% built up and I would be willing to sell 3 of the six. Let me know if you are interested. I will post a link to pictures in the next couple of days. Just busy with Halloween and work stuff.
