Default Is anyone familiar with the Unity Revolving Platform turntable?

I think it is German made, has a bronze platter with rubber mat and is quite funky looking.

I am the proud owner of one as of today and any information would be appreciated.

Like the attached?

Made in Canada AFAIK. There was a tendency for the heavy platter to eat the bearing, other than that a good TT.

I gave the one i had to a friend and you can see what he did in the second attachment.

He's made a nice job of that Dave. Are they DIY suspended feet as well?
Belt or direct drive?
