This low noise riaa
is easy to build - opamp style with common transistors
and will have very great performance - if my sims are somewhat correct.

I think a good PCB prototype silksheet
would be of interest and use for 'Analogue people'
.

Now :)
when the hype of the day is about Low Noise
this project is interesting.

It shows what we can do by using low cost transistors
---> in parallell
to achieve reduced input noise
2T - 3dB
4T - 6dB lower noise, as used in my symmetrical design here ~ half the noise
8T - 9dB
16T - 12 dB, same as 1/4 of noise of 1T

Lineup :) good & low cost audio regards

Let's hear what people think :D
I just dont like to make gigantic and complicated circuits for the task here

please help me!!!!

hi!
My name is Paul Mesaglio. I'm from Argentina and some time ago I found the "super low noise RIAA phono preamp" magazine Elektror. I'm a big fan of DIY (indeed I create guitar effects called RETROHEADFX) and was about to make me one when I found this forum your modifications. I immediately began to do them but I have some doubts:
Finally the two 15K resistors (R17-R21) are removed or fall?
Is the final circuit of post # 16?
I hope you can answer me because I am very close to finishing the design (Corel do first and then step ALTIUM ... if you're interested I can send files)
thank you very much
ps: sorry for my english:(:(

my version of SUPER LOW NOISE RIAA PREAMP

HI
This is my version of the preamplifier. I'm still working hard on it. I added a relay for switching the input to ground or sent to the circuit. I did it with the intention that when changing a vinyl avoid having to lower the volume on your power amp or preamp ... just flipped the mute switch and I can manipulate the vinyl without any noise. Also I added a subsonic filter that can be bypassed by relay. The power supply is also a version of the "salas shunt regulator" .....
again...sorry for my very bad english!!!!
