As per title need help with this turntable...
Does someone know where I can get a power transformer for this record player or have one willing to sell ?
47nf (X2) capacitor shorted and passed 240V to the 110V line and fried it.
Dual P/N 244474 (position 111 in service manual)
0-110-220 - 16.5Vac.

You don't give the current rating, but there is a 16.5V/2A transformer available here:
Power Supply Transformer 16.5V/2A: Amazon.co.uk: Camera & Photo
Unfortunately, the dimensions are not given, but you could contact the seller.

Hi, sorry i was tired yesterday hence the stupid question (I knew it was the trafo)
That transformer is way to big the service manual states 25mA at start up and 15mA running at 220/240V.
The original transformer is +/- 50x40mm with +/-15mm for the lamination.
Also need the 110V leg of the coil for the strobe light.
Thanks people.
Any friendly member here from Germany ?

I wish you were right with that but the transformer is fried/burned the primary coil is no more and it blows the fuse strait away.
I could "improve" the power supply but would like to keep it original.
I may have come to a solution with our college as_audio lets see how it goes
Thanks to all

Well back in the game with this Dual
Many thanks to our friend as_audio for his help without it I wouldn't be able to keep this 604 in original condition ( well with original parts)
Already spoke to a carpenter to have a nice plinth made of some hard wood.
Let the fun begin...
