Hello I plan to buy Fisher CR-125 for small price to pull out meters and use them with my handmade amp. What Im confused is does these vu meters have second layer of plastic protection when I remove big plastic that is covering these VU meters to use them standalone. I need advice from someone who has experience with CR-123-124-125 as they all look the same.
