Post your Analogue Source pics here

Hi,

Nice TT!!

Can you please tell me where you got the mag lev platter bearing. Also if possible the platter weight and magnets dimension.

Many tsk

Adelmo

Hi.....sorry I missed your question...I don't seem to get notifications from this thread any more.

Essentially I made the bearing myself.

I think that I bought the magnets from an eBay seller.

It is just two N52 neodymium ring magnets in opposition to each other. Their dimensions are roughly 100x60x5 .They produce a "lifting force" of 15kg with a 5mm air gap..... so I machined my platter to that weight.

To work with these motors, I use this circuit

Fully balanced phono preamp

Here is my fully balanced phono preamp for MC cartridges, using LL1941 step up transformers and 4 X Tesla PCC88 tubes. Adjustable Gain: 62,66,72dB and Loading adjustment on secondary of LL1941 to match the cartridge. I used two case design for low vibration and to keep away the transformer from tubes. It has a mute circuit with delay. Maida style regulator on phono PCB, heaters are regulated.
