Beautiful Cold Beer.

My one metre of Oak worktop.
The bottom layer is fabricated from the offcuts of the top two layers.
I skimmed the edges with my router end-mill stylee by clamping a couple of strips of wood either side to use as a refence edge, worked a treat but I had to enlarge the base of my router to span the gap.
Tung oil finish.

Cold Beer, What TT did you start with? I really like the idea of multiple layers of BB ply - very dimensionally stable.

Thank you.
This is the original one:
stereonomono: Rotel RP-300

I love working with multiple layers, and to transform old stuff into something new. Here is one old Dual:

My latest TT using Maple and Purple Heart.
I like simplicity and clean lines. This had a Denon 110 cartridge.

Updated ... modified the plinth size, the motor pod housing and the pulley changed to solid copper ( instead of aluminium )

Arm modified to micrometer VTA adjustment.

You cant see them in the picture but changed the feet from maglev to points resting on sorbothane pads.

Did you change the motor or put a spacer under it?
And did you see any difference when you changed to a copper pulley?

Regards John L.
