Motor speed is off, too fast. Sounds like Chip-Monks singing! The iix has a what appears to be a Mclennan Servo Supplies Ltd. motor. Bought the deck on ebay knowing it was wired for 220Vac UK. Here in Canada for 110Vac a diagram found on the net states a simple change of 0.22uf cap from the .018uf will settle the speed at 250 rpm as recommended for North America Voltages. but still too fast!
