This will be the speakers, a so far non commercial experiment by Andres.
The driver is a Visaton B200. I am currently working on a wideband driver that shall compete with the Visaton.

I remember those, smoking (and then we all payed).

Yes, one driver was fryed on the Frickelfest by a digital amp that went beserk. After a collect Andres got enough money to buy a new one.

According to my notes it is about 80mA (the CCS is set to 110mA).

Andres will bring an unusual cartridge. It has only 0.25mV output and 65 Ohm. That is because the windings of the coils are not on magnetic material and the magnet is far from the coils. A tough combination. I hope it works with the Paradise.
One advantage of that cartridge is very high channel separation to high frequencies, at least that was told to me.

It works wondefully with a DL160 (140ohms)

They will work. A good pre regulator with coils takes care of the HF. Just make sure they do not stray into the circuit, so a separate box is the way to go.

My thought was to make a box in the box from cu plate, to avoid too many boxes standing around I have one more trafo for the linestage.

Of course. 110 mA CCS setting minus 80 mA real deal makes 30 mA difference to be absorbed by the shunt, not 50. Sry for the bad math.

As I am going to use a 2x40V O-core transformer per channel, I will have to get rid of about 3,3 VA or 30 Volts at 110 mA with an passive LCLCLC thing (or so). Should be possible.
