I have tons of stuff but I havent had a TT up in 15 years, neither the vinyls which for the most part I gave away to some gfs young punkbrother long time ago. Thats why Its a little uphill track for me but since there is so many nice new releases now I am truly tempted.
I dug up some Sony Pro players (TTS something 2250?) without chassies the other day. They've been mounted in a custom concrete table at Swedish Radio. I'm tempted to mount one or two of those.

Ok. My friend and I had a late night discussion about mounting the TTS3000s in, whats it called, wall gypsum plates? Easy to cut and could be glued in layers with som asphalt or so. Then a wooden frame around. Motor separated from TT alu and mounted in the gypsum. U guys think the TTs are worth an experiment?

I was thinking something like that but maybe some inches wider and a 12 inch tonearm. The few experiments I have been participating says I like non springmounted TTs but firmly mounted in well damped chassies.
Honestly direct drive also but those has some old school servo controlled belt drives that is supposed to work pretty well.
Good for cold war ICBM and Ekranoplan tubes matching spec even.
