Just picked up a Sansui TU-919 and immediately found power
supply problems. Looks like cap and/or rectifier problems.
(AC on DC rails). I'm just going to re-cap whole thing and probably
do rectifiers as well. I noticed audio stage has NEC uPC1190C
and cannot find any datasheets on it whatsoever. One of the
datasheet sites has some specs, but does not cover pinout, etc.
I'm thinking of upgrading that to something more modern as
well and would like to find either original datasheets or what
modern devices are pin compatible. If not pin compatible be
able to at least build adapter board for use with OPA2604,
OPA2132 ,or OPA2134 of which I have tons of any of those
on hand.

Tuner Information Center is your friend and the forum is worth joining. You'll be able to get lots of good advice on tweaking/repairing the TU-919.. (Very nice tuner when working)
