Well, i am not going to use the high gain of the tube, i specifically want to have low gain . I have a lot of tubes, but these came recommended to me to work well in preamp/phono situations. So, i'll give it a try.
Pentode to triode that is, with a strong power supply rectifier of the GZ family. transformer must be around 8-10k, split 600ohm capable of handling 60mA, the above blog refers to Hashimoto or Lundahl transformers but you can have any transformer made basically. What tube would you suggest? much thanks for your input
