Hello all,
I need help identifying a problem with the ML 26 preamplifier. I saw a slight smoke when I turned it on. I shut down immediately. After opening, it turned out that the 20ohm resistor in the control part of the positive power supply was burnt. However, it is still 20 ohms after measurement. Schematic attached. Maybe someone can tell me where to look for the reason. Any help is appreciated!
Br ,
Marek

Most likely a problem with the circuitry supplied by the regulator. First step would be to isolate the output of the reg from the rest of the circuitry. Also check that no significant current flows in R9 and its associated transistor.,
