crossover design including room acoustics and speaker position?

hi
want to start new project after enjoy from full range fostex 206 speaker.
i buy used jbl 2426h with 2370a horn.
i have eminence 15" speaker.
i build mini scoop 15" BLH enclosure .

i want to design crossover for that speaker and i read about it.

Passive Crossover Network Design

for start. i think why not measure the unit in the room in the place Where it should be. and then start to simulate the crossover?
