Hi all.
A year ago I completed this project: A preamplifier in which volume controls and source switches are formed by reed contacts. These are actuated by permanent magnets.
The device has been in operation for a year now daily and works flawlessly.

Decently crafted build ..no arguement
But I'm wondering if this works somehow Audibly Better .. Because?
Never seen Transformer based volume controls then?
ps I have a reed switch in My 1982 Yamaha Lc 350 moto. And in the Windshield washer fluid reservoir of My car. Notably their performance is iffy.
