Good ones are also the KOA Speer MF series. Not too expensive. |

I use CMF resistors because they are non magnetic. Many resistors have steel end caps which is supposedly not good for audio.

I have used Vishay Beyschlag MBB and MRS series for R1. You can parallel upto 3 on these boards. Since these are 0.6w each you can make 1.8w with three of them or 1.2w with two in parallel. 50ppm and inexpensive. nash

If you guys are willing to use single but the exact (or very close) values and do not mind to use bit excessive power rating, then partsconnexion still sale MRA-5s. They are the bests for such positions, but unfortunately they are not cheap.

On the other side I have yet to come across a magnetic RN. Mouser have a good stock of high quality 1W/2W resistors, most other places don't. For Europe Hificollective has some 2W Kiwame, 1W PRP (both 10R +) and 1W Takman metal films (2R2+). For America PartConnexion has more variety of audio resistors. My preference is CFP series for their relative small size and good specs. Welwyn W21 (3W) has also compact size (Farnell has them) DCG3 / FSP / UFSP has some limitations for power resistors size but BIB / UBIB are more flexible so 3W/5W can be used. |

Thanks, Guys! If there's no measurable difference, then KOA Speer is my choice, and I'll have few extra dollars for a nice enclosure

You were quick, are you gonna make A/B comparison with the transistors/jfets, I see bases in place of mirror transistors.
Good parts, it's only I don't like PRP resistors, FGs just fitted. What psu you gonna use? |
