In short, my Preamp has now got loud!!!! crackling sounds every time I turn it on, it is the preamp as I have tested the power amp with a different preamp and it is all ok.
What could be the problem? The sound goes away when I switch to digital inputs, it is only there when it's switched to any phono stage input. The sound is also there when no music device is attached.
