Hi there.. I'm building an opto compressor. So i have a variable dc signal from the peak detector as my control signal for the Vactrol, amplifyed about 8V at maximum peaks but there is to little current (some pA) and can't drive the led. Which is the best way to amplify the current but the output also to follow exactly the variations of the control signal?

Sounds like you need a buffer, but if only pA is available perhaps it had better use a CMOS opamp wired with 100% negative feedback (output to -ve in). Try something like an LMC662.
