it is a nice integrated amplifier. if the potentiometer is missing, you can wire a potentiometer without using the small board. if you do not find a 150k potentiometer, you can use a 100k.

PS: as you can see in File#0079 the board that holds the potentiometer is very simple to build, you can build it with those boards found in Radio shack. but as I said before, you can just wired directly to the potentiometer without using the board.
