I have a Yamaha Promix 01 Digital mixer. 8 of the 16 channels have white noise. None of them are actually providing power. The motorized faders are (were ) dead. Input opamps are showing 2.0 VDC yet there is 30-0-30 going to the input board.
Assuming it was a power problem, I dug down the the power supply and found 1 of 2 fuses blown. I replaced the fuse and reassembled the mixer. When I powered it up the faders came to life but I am still showing signal (white noise) on some channels although there is no source. The input opamps are NJM2068LD My best guess is that some of the input opamps have gone bad and are also responsible for blowing fuse. Any thoughts or suggestions? |
