Yes, Jan, of course.

Most commercial toroids have two primaries, each of 110-120Vac. In series, 220-240Vac, and in parallel (start to start, finish to finish) 110-120Vac.

I did not tell you the price and very soon it's rising to $AUD2450 (presently $USD1933) but presently I have four pairs at $AUD2200 a pair.

It is scaleable but I do not permit less than 35Vac secondary. Presently the toroids secondary voltage is 45Vac, and rail is 65Vdc. 35Vac would give you around 52Vdc on the rails, which is just over 100W. There is no sonic change between the two voltages; this is one of the qualities of this amp, it is not sensitive to rail voltage, aside from output bias, of course.

Cheers,

Hugh

Hugh,
Thank you for your time and answers ... the price of 2200 AUD is interesting (it is about 1450 EUR today without duty, tax and shipping) but currently over my financial capacity ....... but maya is definetely on my wishes list.

Cheers,

Jan

Jan,

Hugh is kind and flexible enough to send an invoice for tax purposes, adjusted to "reality" if you know what i mean. This helps a lot and does not increase the value to prohibitive values.
